Health & Safety Excellence Award
Alkermes received a Life Sciences category award at Ireland’s 2023 Health & Safety Excellence Awards. This award affirms our employees’ focus on building a culture of safety and risk management at our facility in Athlone, Ireland.
Platinum Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health
In 2023, Alkermes was again honored with the Platinum Bell Seal, a first-of-its-kind workplace mental health certification from Mental Health America that recognizes employers who strive to create mentally healthy workplaces for their employees. To receive this certification, Alkermes underwent a rigorous evaluation of its policies and practices in four key areas: workplace culture, benefits, compliance and holistic wellness programs. Alkermes also received a Platinum Bell Seal, the highest level of recognition, in 2022, which demonstrates Alkermes’ continued dedication to employee mental health and well-being.

Business Working Responsibly Mark
The Business Working Responsibly Mark (the "Mark") is an independently audited standard for corporate social responsibility and sustainability based on ISO 26000, an international social responsibility guidance standard. The Mark, which is awarded by Business in the Community Ireland and audited by the National Standards Authority Ireland, is valid for three years. Certification to the Mark, which was completed in 2021, recognizes Alkermes' Athlone, Ireland facility’s commitment and integrated approach to managing Environmental, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) considerations.
KeepWell Mark™
Alkermes' sites in Ireland have maintained a KeepWell Mark from the Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC) since 2020. The KeepWell Mark is an evidence-based workplace well-being accreditation awarded to companies who meet or exceed industry standards for well-being, health and safety.
